So there's a few things I'd like to know about my fellow filmmakers on here. How old are you (If you'd like, you can give an approximation or an age group), and how long have you been making films? I'll start it off.

Got some young filmmakers on here! Have you all checked out all the Young Filmmaker festivals and scholarships available? That's something I missed out on.

I am 19, and have been making films for school since I was 14. But I have started my own Film Production Company based out of Los Angeles. And when I say started, I mean like its an actual company in the State of California. I have four dedicated employees and will be recruiting several interns from Cal State Northridge's Film Program (yay for free labor). We have been working on one film right now, a feature length. These things happen guys. I haven't been around here very long, but I'm genuine.Lets move on with the genuine members, with filmmaking in their blood. Maybe the moderators can sort it. Its unfortunate, but I couldn't look at anymore contributions from those who thought the pic was real. They are the genuine contributors and deserve better.

I'm 39 and started writing and making films when I was 9 years old. Yep, we started out with an old Regular 8mm camera. Not even Super 8. I used an old portable, non-electric, typewriter to write with back then. Those were the days. 🙂 Now I'm writing and producing and hope to make a go at it full-time starting this year.
I am 14, I have been making films since I was 7. I made my mvoies with an 8mm camcorder back then. Man I must have made litterally a hundred. Things were good back then. I made and I still make War and Science Fiction movies. They have always been my favorite.
Filmmaking is my passion, wether I become a director in Hollywood or not. I want to be as close to filmmaking as I can for as long as I live.

Who are you referring to when you say fakes, or not genuine members? I have yet to come accross anyone yet that is not genuine.
