Tropfest is the largest short film festival in the world and is taking place for the 3rd time at the World Financial Center in New York City on September 26th of this year. Tropfest NY 2008 entrants will compete for a First Prize of $20,000 cash, a trip for two to Australia, and $20,000 in other prizes. The festival?s goal is to bring exposure to talented, young filmmakers from around New York and the world, and provide an enriching cultural event for the community.
