April 16-18, 2004
Can you make a film in 24 hours? Here's your chance. Whether professional or a complete amateur, we're want you to join us in this extreme event.

Rule #1 - No Video Editing.
Rule #2 - Must Be Completed Within 24 Hours Of Your Start Time.
Rule #3 -Your Film Must Include The "Requirements" That We Will Give You Right Before Your Start Time.
Rule #4 - Your Film Must Be From 3-7 Minutes In Length.

The festival also contains these rules except we require that the film is completed in exactly 24 hours from your start time. Sound fun? Sound challenging?

And new this round, we are creating an "On-Call" actor list. You must be available from Friday 6pm, Saturday 6pm at anytime. Go to our web site for more details.

Friday the 16th:
Be at "Firehouse Grille" on Market St. There we will give you a team packet containing all the info you need. We will write down the "start" time & you officially have "24 hours" to complete a movie shot in linear order from start to finish with "no editing". We prefer that you use digital 8, mini-dv tapes or vhs to film with. However, if you have another format, then let us know so that we may accommodate you.

Saturday April 17th:
Meet us back at the Firehouse Grille lounge within your
allotted 24 hours. Hand in your film & get some sleep.

Sunday, April 18th:
Join us at the "Hollywood East Cinema Grill" at 1:30 pm
where we will show the top 10 films on the big screen. 1st through 3rd place trophies will be awarded along with cash prizes. Best Actor and Artsy Fartsy Awards will also be presented.

Guests may purchase tickets to the showing on Sunday for $3 at the door. Please let us know how many guests will be joining you, for theatre occupancy. Call Hollywood East Cinema Grill at (910)792-1084 or online: hollywoodeastcinemagrill.com.
