Hey whats up I am super new to these forums, and a film maker, producer, writer, and creator of television shows. I have been in Hollywood for about two years and have had an extremely successful couple of years. Haven't hit my huge break yet, but it is fast approaching considering everyone I have met and everything I have done thus far. I haven't been to Sundance however, and I want to know if any of you have. I'd love to hear stories about it, I hear its awesome and a great experience! Any Stories? Don't be Shy

I've gone to Sundance four times.
Frankly I prefer the smaller festivals. Slamdance used to
be a lot of fun, but they have become the same as Sundance
. Too many TV stations and too many stars mean the
screening are crowded and exclusive - you don't have a
chance to mingle - and the big parties are restricted to
the "connected" people. You can't meet and talk to the
filmmakers.
But if you can somehow score tickets to the screenings
you can still see some great movies before they get
snapped up for distributors. And you can star watch
from a distance.
