SLAMtv is sponsoring "SmallScreens, Big Screams 2004", a film and video contest for short films and videos that fit (loosely) into the horror genre. Finalists will be guaranteed unedited airplay on Comcast cable, and there will be cash prizes for winners, to be determined later. Entries will be accepted from 1-8-2004 through 7-30-2004. There is a nominal entry fee to handle administrative costs and return postage. Formats are limited to DVD, VHS/S-VHS and mini-dv without exception. Material that could be categorizied as horror, surreal, gothic, film noir, etc. we encourage submission, and music video ( a separate category) the same, however we are open to review ANY subject matter.
