Shorts on the Green Short Film Festival returns in 2010 to the heart of the Gold Coast; Surfers Paradise. After a very successful start in its inaugural year, Shorts on the Green returns this year, allowing students, amateurs and professionals alike to enter their films to be shown on the big screen. Entry into the festival is free and filmmakers will have the chance to not only have their work screened on the big screen in front of a huge audience, but also have the chance to win cash and great prizes.
Shorts on the Green is proudly supported by Surfers Paradise Alliance, The Post Lounge, Able Video, Procam, Filmink Magazine and Event Cinemas.
The event takes place at the Circle on Cavill outdoor amphitheater in Surfers Paradise on June 13, 2010, with film entries closing on May 19th. Any filmmakers out there are encouraged to enter their short films. Entry is free and films can be of any genre, as long as they are under 8 minutes and fit into an M rating.
