Our 20th Annual San Diego International Film Festival begins on April 16th and continues through April 30th, 2004. We will be accepting entries from now until December 31st, 2003.

Previous winners for our Festival Award for Best Film include Zacharias Kunuk's ATANARJUAT (The Fast Runner)??a film we were proud to present and which represents the kind of film we're delighted to bring to San Diego: work made with a passion for the genre and subject, well-crafted, and embodying a palpable personal vision.

We accept all genres and lengths: feature length fiction and documentary plus short live action and animation which are featured on A Short Night! and Celebrating Animating!. Short films longer than 20 minutes are often paired with a feature film. The Festival is competitive.

Entries are accepted on VHS cassettes and DVDs. When a film is accepted we prefer presenting 35mm prints, but also project video and DVD if necessary.

We will be delighted to consider any film submitted.
