Call for entries
The Revelation Film Festival will again in 2011 showcase Australias most exciting and progressive independent films, and if this describes your work, Revelation could be the place for you to be this July. Were looking for established and emerging filmmakers whose work fits any of these categories:
short films
narrative features
short and feature length documentaries
animation
experimental work, and
weird hybrids!
If you think that covers just about the whole filmmaking gamut, youre right! the main selection criteria for Revelation is that films are independent; and they surprise, challenge and entertain.
If youre an independent filmmaker, Revelation will enable your work to be exposed to high level industry participants from the cultural, creative and business sectors, including Australian distributors.
If thats not enough, theres also RevCon: the Revelation Film Festivals ideas market, where a select group of independent filmmakers come to Perth to present their work, share their knowledge and experience and meet and network with local filmmakers.
We welcome submissions from all filmmakers, working in any style, at any length, on any subject. Take a look at our 2010 archives to get an idea of the kind of films were looking for.
