About the NYTVF:
Since 2005, The Festival has featured acclaimed indie pilots that were purchased by NBC Universal, A&E, and Versus, and that landed many producers and creators in meetings with major networks and production companies.
Along with the Independent Pilot Competition, The NYTVF hosts a variety of script contests throughout the year, and the annual Festival in September presents free screenings, production workshops, panels, red-carpet premieres, and other special events designed to honor television as an institution and as an art form.
Held annually each fall in New York City, the Festival unites artists, executives, industry figures, and fans together in one forum to celebrate the medium and to help shape its future.
