The invitation to participate in MOMPEO IN CORTO is online: the International Short Film Festival organized by the Comune di Mompeo from thirteen years, gathering the best proposals for short films from all over the world. Deadline June 20. Three sections in the competition: animation, fiction and music videos.
Mompeo: is a little gem on the beautiful valley of Farfa immersed in a fairytale land, since 1999, decided to open the doors of its castle and its squares to the short film, showing an extraordinary poetic skill and communication. By bringing together on the language of brevity people often distant for tongue and culture.

2011: a year of change, the artistic director (Maria Luisa Lafiandra), the site, the new logo. But stable is the love for the culture of quality that meet the professionally passion of a group of citizens involved in the project from the first time.

We remind that in recent years the International Short Film Festival in Sabina was attended by writers, directors and fans of the genre of short film from all over the world: the Festival's archive preserves the film produced by young Americans, Russians, Australians, Europeans and Eastern Europe which have participated in several editions. Significant also was the presence and participation of the schools to which he dedicated a specific section of the competition for the type of productions presented.

The focus on this art form was born in the 60s, enhancing the daily lives of men and women of all ages. Led to an art form by a distinguished author as Nanni Loy, the short film has developed over the years with a growing interest that moved with the same enthusiasm in the world of television capturing the media attention on a wider public. No coincidence that the first editions of the Festival have been named "Nanni Loy".

Among the artists who received the lifetime achievement award in previous editions there are: Leo Gullotta, Maurizio Micheli, Riccardo Reim, Lina Sastri, Massimo Dapporto, Elisabetta Gardini, Giorgio Capitani, Damiano Damiani, Pasquale Squitieri, Arnoldo Fo, Miranda Martino, Gisella Sofio, Blasco Giurato, Milena Miconi, Domenico Fortunato, Pier Francesco Pingitore, Francesca Reggiani, Stelvio Cipriani.

During the last edition, the artistic presence and the level of proposed program were significant: the opening of the Festival for the third consecutive year, entrusted to a concert by the band of the Carabinieri; the participation of Rosanna Cancellieri, Michele Cucuzza, Luca Barbareschi, Catherine Spaak, Maria Grazia Cucinotta and others.
