Hello
I am new to film production and want to see what is currently going on in the UK. I live in the South West but can travel... any UK festivals coming up soon? I am particularly interested in short films.
Many thanx Janene x?:D?
i'd like to hear about any in the UK too, we seem to be without them...
perhaps us UK film fanatics should get together and start our own festival?
I Totally agree with you, especially where i live, although it's near london, festivals come in a blue moon, the last one was aimed at older students you had to be 18 and over to enter (I'am 14) so I have nowhere to enter my work.
If you know any festivals coming to the South-East, East Anglia region please tell me.
Thanks ?8D?
Hi folks
We are running a free film festival in Bewdley Worcestershire that includes short documentary films and are looking for new contributors. Amongst other contributions we have a documentary about Malcolm X's visit to Smethwick after it was revealed that in the mid 60's political groups were entreating local councils to buy up housing stock and then ban letting it to non-whites. The producer - Steve Page has worked in the ghettos of New York for over 20 years and the film has been accepted as a permanent exhibit in the planned Malcolm X Memorial Museum.
We are also accepting entries for the free 6.6mb short film competition where you can win ?300.
The movie competition is simple to enter - just email us a movie in any standard format with a file size of less than 6.6mb and get it here by Monday the 14th of November 2005 - admin?fexfilm.com
For more information on the competition and film festival please go to:

Hey folks,
There has been over 40 short films from 10 seconds to 8 minutes uploaded onto Fex Wazner's 6.6MB film competition website. There are some excellent entries from all around the world, please view as many as you can and vote for any that you have seen.
You can watch all the movies for free, but you will need to register to the site to keep it fair. You may have to check your bulk mail folder for registration confirmation emails though.
Best regards,
