A host of international sales agents, distributors, broadcasters and press will be attending the festival, providing film makers with an opportunity to bring their work to the attention of the whole industry. Running from 12th ? 21st April 2007 the festival is also poised just three weeks before the Cannes Film Festival and is therefore also ideal for film makers wanting to raise the profile of their projects beforehand.
The festival will provide full press and promotional support for all selected films via the festival press office. The festival is run in association with www.ScreenRepublic.com, the portal for independent, world and classic film.
Our mission is to help films from USA and Canada gain valuable exposure in Europe. British audiences have already proved themselves enthusiastic supporters of the best North American indies. Challenging films such as ?Donnie Darko? and ?Reservoir Dogs? were adopted by discerning British audiences and ended up being far more successful in the UK than in the domestic market.
