The Columbus International Film & Video Festival, aka The Chris Awards is extending its entry deadline until July 15th. All entries that arrive at our office by July 15th will have the late penalty waived, and you do not need to contact us for permission to send us your entry for the new deadline. Persons wishing to enter after the new July 15th deadline will be considered on a case by case basis, and you must contact us via email in advance. NEW JULY 15 Entry Deadline
The Columbus International Film & Video Festival, a.k.a. "The Chris Awards" is one of the most prestigious documentary, educational, business and informational competitions in the U.S., the oldest of its kind in North America and celebrating its 55th year.

* Honors documentary, entertainment, educational, industrial; corporate, independent and television productions

* Nearly 100 categories within 13 subject-area Divisions, for video, film and Interactive Media, plus special competitions for Students, and Print Media.

* Formats accepted: DVD (preferred), 1/2" VHS, CD-ROM, URL.

* Fees: based on length, starting at $70 for 15:00 and under; Student fees $25-$50.

* Eligibility: Productions completed in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 are eligible.

* The 2007 Festival Screenings will be held at The Columbus College of Art & Design November 7-11 2007.

* Entries must be in English, dubbed or subtitled in English.
