REAL ESTATE CONNECT 2005 DIGITAL FILM AWARDS
San Francisco, CA July 27-29, 2005

SUBMISSIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED!

Inman News has created a special opportunity for filmmakers to promote their online mini-documentary and film work in a national forum with numerous industry leaders. We're inviting submissions to The 1st Annual Real Estate Connect Digital Film Awards (July 27-29 in San Francisco), produced by Inman News (www.inman.com), the nation's leading real estate news service and content provider. Our editorial content appears in over 250 newspapers throughout the country and is featured on more than 50,000 Web sites.

We recently launched a new series of digital news stories and short documentaries on real estate, architecture, and communities, and have already arranged distribution agreements with Yahoo! MSN, the Wall Street Journal, and more. View sample films here: http://db.inman.com/movies/peter/index2.html

Our publisher, Bradley Inman, has already been working with photojournalism students through his teachings at the University of California, Berkeley School of Journalism. We're looking to broaden our reach, ideas and perspectives, as well as provide filmmakers with a chance to promote their films within a commercial setting.

Please share the information below with your friends and associates: post it on your online and in-person bulletin boards; e-mail it out; we can even provide you with an electronic ad to include on your Web site. Below is a link to more information, including an event overview, submission requirements, etc.

Once all submissions are made, a team of Inman News editors and writers will select 25 semi-finalists, who will be awarded $500 each for their work. Some of these films will be previewed at the Inman News Real Estate Connect Conference in San Francisco on July 27-29, 2005. A panel of professional judges will select six finalists who will receive $1,000 and have their films previewed at the Film Awards event. The winner will receive an award of $5,000.

Let us know if you require additional information or artwork. Thanks and we hope to see you there!
