Chop Bin Sync Wants your Films!
Do you have a short film that you made years ago? Have you got an experiment that you're unsure what to do with, but would love to see it screened? Or maybe you're one of the thousands that didn't get into Tropfest? Well...
Chop-Bin-Sync wants to see your film!
Chop-Bin-Sync is a new show on TV Sydney, a new community TV station. And it is also a fortnightly film night to be held at Hotel Hollywood, Surry Hills, Sydney.
Chop-Bin-Sync screen the hippest, funkiest and most thought provoking short films made by independent filmmakers. It?s an artist run initiative to help filmmakers get their work screened and out there. Screening starts in February including short films up to 15 minutes in length.
First round Deadline: 29th January, 2006.
What are we after? If you?ve got a short film that you?ve made and it didn?t make it into the final round of Trop Fest or any of the other film festivals that seem to be harder to break into than a bank vault, then Chop-Bin-Sync want it!
If you?ve got a student film that you think is awesome. Send it in. Chop-Bin-Sync want them all. Experiments, animations, horror, drama, everything! Chop-Bin-Sync has been born out of the need, or lack of a place for independent filmmakers to showcase their work. Filmmakers all around the world submit to festivals in the hope of being screened. Chop-Bin-Sync aims to make things more accessible and offer creators a chance to get their stuff out there
