History and the NYTVF awarding development deals for original doc and unscripted entertainment TV teasers.

Submit your teaser or casting tape for the chance to receive funding, win $10k and participate in pilot production with History.

History, a #1 destination for authentic unscripted entertainment for men and home of hit series Pawn Stars and Swamp People, is re-teaming with the NYTVF to give independent artists and production companies a chance to develop fresh unscripted programming with the network. The History brand is sharp, gutsy, genuine, and rooted- and we think you might have the next big thing!

Unscripted formats of all genres are welcome. Submissions should focus on introducing charismatic male characters living in surprising worlds or with fresh points of view.

Awards:
* 15 semi-finalists will be reviewed by the network with five (5) finalists receiving development funding to produce additional tape. One winner will receive $10,000 and a development opportunity with History.
* All 15 finalists will receive designation as 2014 NYTVF Official Artists and an exclusive invitation to participate in the 10th annual New York Television Festival, held in NYC in 2014. Details here: http://www.nytvf.com/artists.html

FREE to submit. Just include:
* Pilot Teaser/Sizzle Reel/Casting Tape: Two (2) to Four (4) Minutes
* Series Treatment: One (1) to Two (2) Pages
