It has been years since I have attened this festival. In he past the regional turnout was always good. they seem to have added music to the festival in addition to much better sponsership. I know in the past it was very easy to get a project shown at the festival, but would say if your not with in a 5-6 hour drive it might not be your efforts.

If you decide to attend here are few fun things to do in Tulsa
1. seek out local photographer who took pictures with Larry Clark back in the day. He is still taking incrediable pictures and owns a bike store. The only way you can get his book is to stop in the shop, and I'm told he's always happy to autograph it. (name escapes me right now)
2. stay in the Frank Llyod Wright Price Tower just outside of Tulsa.
3. photo scavernger hunt for Rumblefish and Outsiders scene locations.
4. go to bell's ameusement park, and ride one of the oldest wooden rollercoasters in the states. great location for photo opps, think midwest meets connie island.
5. attend the horse races. A good way to kill an afternoon people watching with a beer.
6. spend a night at one of the casinos in Tulsa.
