I curate short films for the annual Festival of India held every September in Charlotte, NC. The Festival showcases dance, music, food and other cultural aspects of India. Last year, for the first time, we included a program of short films in the Festival offerings.

We invite submissions for the next Festival of India. The films have to be by filmmakers of Indian origin or their main theme should be connected to India in some way. In addition, the films should be no more than 20 minutes long. The time limit may be waived for works of exceptional quality. The deadline for submission is August 1, 2012.
