The I.C. Visions Project is Toronto's most innovative youth driven social project. Awarded by then Municipal Councilor Olivia Chow for ?leadership in youth advocacy and innovation" the program is making strong strides in uniting a fragmented community and providing young people throughout the mega-city with a creative outlet for their energies.
A subsidiary of L.A.M.P. (Lakeshore Area Multi-Services Project), which is a member of the United Way, the I.C. Visions project is the first government funded hip-hop recreational centre in North America. The project uses urban music and culture to empower young people from South Etobicoke and across the city to run numerous youth engagement, leadership development, life skills and technical skills programs to their peers.
