Have you made a feature or short genre film that just does not fit into the mainstream Cineplex theatre? If you have and if your film has not screened in Saskatoon then you should be submitting it for submission as soon as possible. The deadline for submissions is July 31st, 2010.

The majority of the movies screened through Dark Bridges come from the genres of Fantasy, SciFi, Horror, Anime, Martial Arts, and Genre Documentary. However, If you feel your movie is interesting enough yet doesnt fit into an easily classified genre please still submit your film for our consideration as we love to push boundaries and would love to look at your film.

How to Submit your film

Please fill out and mail the submission form along with a DVD screener of your film and and Electronic Press Kit (if Available) and submission fee (see below) to

If you wish to let us know that you are sending in a submission you may also send an email to info?darkbridges.com. You may also let us know if there is an online version of your movie but we will not consider the submission complete until we receive the DVD screener and submission form and fee through the mail.
Submission Fee

The submission fee is $10 CDN for Short Films and $20 CDN for Feature Films. Please write the cheque to Dark Bridges Film Festival Inc. This fee may also be paid through Paypal.

Submission Eligibility

1. This film has not screened to a public audience in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
2. This film or video is not subject to any litigation nor is threatened by any litigation.
3. I am duly authorized to submit this film to the festival.
4. I hold the Dark Bridges Film Festival harmless from any damage to the print(s), tape(s) or disc(s) en route or otherwise during the course of the festivals possession of the film.
5. I hold the Dark Bridges Film Festival, its owners, management, juries, subsidiaries, agents, sponsors, affiliates, and etc. harmless from any and all claims of liability resulting from my entry.
6. I certify that I have full rights to the use of the music in the entered work.
7. I give permission for the Dark Bridges Film Festival to use stills, titles, copy, and/or information from the short for promotional purposes
8. I give permission for the Dark Bridges Film Festival to screen the film at the Festival as well as any Festival presentations, programs, and/or events.

Terms and Conditions

Dark Bridges Film Festival is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.

The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.

The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Dark Bridges Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorneys fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
