Cosponsored by the Sundance Channel, the Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) has rapidly become one of the most celebrated young film festivals in the region. Along with big crowds and festival audiences drawn by all genres of independent film, BIFF has attracted an impressive array of award-winning Hollywood stars, independent filmmakers, directors and producers.
Over 8,000 filmmakers, national media, VIPs and film enthusiasts attended the four-day BIFF 2006. Acceptance of your film in BIFF 2007 places it in competition for multiple Colorado Film Society Jury Awards, including over $2,500 in prizes from Kodak.
BIFF is an opportunity to showcase your film with the large, film-hip Boulder-Denver audiences, and to rub egos with some of the most exciting artists in the film industry.
All events, parties, films, and workshops are conveniently located within a 4-block radius on the legendary Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. Easy-going and hip, Boulder is a traditional magnet for the tech-savvy, music & arts-loving outdoors-person who also likes to party. Along with a major University film school, the area boasts hundreds of miles of running, skiing and hiking trails, world-class restaurants, hotels, galleries, shops and bar bands. And it's all surrounded by 46,000 scenic acres of stunning Open Space.
