Sharp is partnering with THX and RED Digital Cinemas to host a 4K film competition with the goal of recognizing emerging visual storytellers and their work as well as encouraging the creation of 4K content.

Entrants are asked to submit short films (4 minute maximum) depicting their personal vision of energy, light and scale. It can be narrative, abstract, technical - up to you. Entries must be filmed in 4K, with any 4K camera.

Four finalists will receive a trip to Hollywood, CA for the Shot on RED Film Festival. The winner will receive a Sharp 70? AQUOS? 4K TV ($7,499.99 value) and a trip to CES 2014 in Las Vegas to have their film play live in the Sharp booth and a chance for excellent exposure.
