The second annual Charlotte Film Festival announces its open call for entries.

Deadlines are as follows:

Early Bird: January 1
Regular: April 1
Late: May 15
WAB Only: June 15

The Festival is committed to rewarding independent moviemakers everywhere whom, despite their challenges and restrictions, are able to produce movies rich with stories that not only entertain but also touch us on a deeply human level.

The Festival is a competition and it will present eight awards totaling $3,500.00 in cash plus $1,600 in in-kind prizes. The awards will be given to films in five categories: Narrative Feature, Narrative Short, Documentary, Animation, and Student Film.
