Hi

I'm a 30 year old amateur filmmaker from Hastings, UK. I've spent the last year or two making short films, documentaries and music videos for some locals bands using my ?200 Panasonic SD90. I'm really enjoying making the music videos and have been using Adobe Premiere Elements 10 to edit.

I feel like i'm at the stage where I want to be able to produce better now. I feel my camcorder quality isn't quite pushing it. It's rather poor and grainy in low light conditions and i'm wondering if upgrading to something more professional will open up my options a little more.

There's a myriad of different professional cameras on the market around the ?1500 mark but I don't want to overspend if I don't need to. Can anyone offer any assistance on places I can swot up on what camcorder is right for me. Finding it hard to find any guides.
