hello all
i have friend in Uganda who runs a charity and his camera just broke, so im getting him a new one. he had one of those bog-standard mini-DV camcorders
i was considering getting him a cannon XM2, but i then thought of getting him one with a memory card, as he has a laptop to transfere videos.
does anyone know of a good camera that films to memory stick that is reliable/durable.
i am a student so i dont have much money, anything in the 400 and bleow range.
priorities are:
durable
cheap to run (ie memory stick, not DV tapes)
cheap to buy
video quality (he only needs it for disaster reports etc)
thanks all
Does the camera have to record to a removable memory card? Or is
a flash drive okay? Something like the "Flip" or the Sanyo CG10
might work. Sony has cameras called "Webbies" that I hear are
pretty good.
The only one I've actually used myself is the Flip from Pure Digital.
They make pretty nice cameras.
