But i cannot afford the master collection of adobe software, at the minute i work full time for a UK university (not a teacher, a technician) i am also a part time student at a uk FE college.

On the Adobe website it says i have to be a higher education student or staff at a university, does this mean teaching staff? do you reckon i would be able to bend the rules and get away with just scanning my staff card?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly they aren't going to check.

But be careful, because often academic/discount versions of software, while the exact same, can not be upgraded.

Basically Adobe wants to give you cheap software so that when you get money you'll like Adobe and buy more rather than jumping to Apple or someone else. They are gonna be very lenient with their qualifications and in turn you will be loyal and buy their stuff later, right?

So call or email Adobe and ask what it takes to qualify. If you have a student ID you should qualify for the student discount I think. Part time or not shouldn't matter. I don't think Adobe wants to be flooded with those details.
