Hi there,

I'm a still photographer who has started tinkering with DV thanks to getting a canon G11 for my carrying around camera and now a gopro HD helmet hero. I do a lot of dirt bike stuff and I'm looking for a small and inexpensive HD camera that can shoot 120fps+ is there such a thing? I've looked but frame rate seems to max out at 60fps for most cameras so I thought I'd ask you guys if you know of a camera that would fit the bill.

Thanks.

The quick answer is no.

For high-speed HD, you'll have to rent the Phantom http://www.visionresearch.com/index.cfm?sector=htm/files&page=camera_hd_new

Even if you wanted to shoot film at that rate, you'd still need specialty equipment like Photosonics. http://www.photosonics.com/

I don't know of any smaller/cheaper equipment capable of those speeds.
