I am trying to come up with a complete list of equipment for a grant proposal. Long story short, I am in college and designed my own film studies major. My school doesn't have ANY of the equipment necessary to make films. So I am proposing a film to get funding. My film is going to be a series of interviews (inside) and then some shots of outdoor events and the landscape.

Can you post a list of equipment needed?

I have a few things I know I need to get. I need editing software (I have a macbook pro so i was going to get final cut studio), I need a camera obviously. I was just going to get a sony handycam HDR-SR11. Can you suggest a list of lenses and filters I would need? Also, what kind of lighting equipment (i know I need a light meter) and sound equipment will I need?

Can you please be specific? I know this seems really far-fetched, but bare with me.
