I am getting equipment for my first short film. I wanted to list the equipment I have and i am planning on getting so someone here can tell me what I am missing. But Please keep in mind I am talking absolute essentials only for a low budget short.

shotgun mic
boompole
xlr cables
audio mixer
reflector
low budget light kit
camera

what did I miss?

Coffee maker

Other than that this looks like a fine starter kit. As you get more money
there are more things you can buy to enhance your equipment package
but this looks like the absolute essentials only.

It may depend on the camera. If you get XLR inputs, then you'll be fine. If not, you'll need a device to record audio; either your laptop (with an audio interface with XLR inputs), or an audio recorder (such as Tascam DR-40 or Zoom H4N). Audio mixer may not be necessary unless you are shooting with more than 2 microphones.
