Hello! I just got a Canon 514XL, and everything works except it will not turn on. When I got it, there were two old batteries in it. Do you think that could have killed it? if not, does it take AA batteries? and does it only turn on if there is film in it? thanks.
Use vinegar and cotton swabs to clean out the corrosion
left by the old batteries. Clean out the entire battery area
and all the connections. But in fresh batteries. If everything
is working, that will solve the problem.
