Hi guys,
I want your advice.
I am a semi-professional cinematographer. I have been working with some wedding videos and small commercial.
I am in need of a handle gimbal to carry Red Epic and 5D mark III.
Movi M10 will be nice choice but the price is a bit high...I have read something about DJI Ronin. Do you know more of that? What will you recommend?
Thank you!
You don't want to be using the M10 with a Red Epic camera. Unless you're on the Carbon Dragon, the camera alone weighs over 5 lbs. Balancing an M10 when it's loaded to the max is difficult, and battery life drops significantly.
Get a Ronin for your 5D3 and if you need to float your Epic, spring for something bigger.

Hello,
Have you already made your decision?
I would like to recommend a 3-axis gimbal for you ; it?s called MOZA from Gudsen. Maybe you didn't hear it before, but some of its features sound great and interesting. It has built-in wireless video transmitter, wireless remote controller which can not only control camera movements but also camera record and focus. Its wireless and tool-less design makes the overlook very clean.
There is a Moza User Group on Facebook. You can find more information there.
Moza are terrible. I've gone through 2 of their Moza Airs, there support is absolutely rubbish and they just seem to malfunction after a while. Zhiyun are pretty good or DJI have just released their DJI Ronin-S which so far has very good reviews.
Not sure if you have seen this before but GripUp has a gimbal guide ( https://gripup.com/gimbal-guide) that you enter your camera / phone info into and it suggests the best gimbal for you. Only works for gimbals like most are on there (except cameTV actually)
