I?ve a Sony as2 and tend to film with adaptor and EF lens?s, sigma etc but I?m in increasingly tight time frames and need a lense that will find focus easily particularly on faces and hands in low light. I?m using Slog etc.

I film a lot in harsh institutional settings with intensely poor lighting too bright and high up.

Any Sony lense suggestions advice truly welcome!

I'm putting together a lens kit to make my first short. I was interested in the Dzofilm Vespids due to their advertised softer less clinically sharp look, however talk of problems with chromatic aberration have made me apprehensive. Being new to this I'm not sure how much of the desired softer look of the Dzofilm Vespids is down to lighting/ Tiffen Pro Mist lens filters which could be recreated with the meike cine lenses with less chromatic aberration. The other main option in my price range are the Meike Cine full frame lenses (https://meikeglobal.com/collections/full-frame), only the 50mm is currently available but the rest of the line is due to come out over 2021.

Am I over worrying about the Dzofilm's chromatic aberration, when fixed in post does this detract from the image in other ways or is the only downside the time needed to fix it. So if I go with the Meikes can I get a softer look, and if I go with the Dzofilm Vespids will the chromatic aberration be a problem for me? Thanks in advance for any help.

Here's a sample clip talking about the chromatic aberration on the Dzofilm Vespids: https://youtu.be/lEC91tjX71s?list=LL&t=397

This question involves field recorders and such:

I'm doing a lot more on location interviews and vlogs these days with multiple guests, requiring more inputs on my devices. I'm considering buying an old Sound Devices 788T to use for a stand alone mixer/recorder.

I plan to use my Grace Lunatec dual preamp into the SD 788T's digital AES input.

I'm just looking for users' experience with the 788T mostly, before I purchase one. Maybe someone here can answer some questions?

	1. Can the unit record two AES/EBU digital tracks simultaneously along with the other 6 analog inputs?
	2. Is the file transfer fast enough over USB so that I won't need to bother with transferring the CF card card back and forth to my PC for editing?
	3. It is obviously an older unit. Are there any issues with compatibility with more modern equipment or is the 788T still a worthwhile tool to have and use? In other words, there are products like the Sound Devices MixPre 10T that operate at 32-bit depth and obviously have 10 imputs, etc., but I'm guessing that these devices are 'pro-sumer' grade. Is the 788T still worthwhile?

I wanted to buy a cheap backdrop stand kit and then buy the cloth for really cheap from my friend. The functional space designated for the green screen is about 3m long and 2 meters wide. That seems an equivalent space for a compact green screen except most green screens have tripod shaped legs which wont fit in the room and I don't want a 2m green screen because that would be pretty limiting. The perfect green screen for me would be a T shaped 3 m long one or a super adjustable to the millimeter normal green screen not those bar ones. The thing is I cant find any of those options even for more than a 100. Do you guys know the place where I should be looking for these kinds of green screens?

I bought a Moza Air 2 on ebay that was only used a few times. The seller claims it worked perfect when he sent it. However, I found everything works except that the left and right positions of the joystick have no affect on the gimble (I.E. will not pan).

If I assign the up down joystick positions to pan instead of tilt, it works. I can also pan using the cell phone app.

I updated to the latest firmware 1.0.2, and the problem still exists.

Is there anything I might be overlooking, or did I buy a lemon?
