The problem with YouTube is over copyright legalities. If you post your video on YouTube the owners of YouTube can redistribute it in any format at any time they desire without asking you or paying you. In some cases this isn't a problem. You want attention and that redistribution is just more attention.
But I can see how that would bother a lot of people.

that is a problem for sure. what do they do with people putting up content that isn't theirs?
