Welcome to filmmaking.net. We respectfully request you don't cross post. From our FAQ at the top of each forum:

quote:

No Cross-Posting - "cross-posting" is where you post the same message to multiple groups within our forums. We do not allow cross-posting because it just clogs up the forums with duplicate messages, and since most users read all the forums anyway, all this does is increase the page loading time and make it harder for users to find information they are actually interested in. When posting, please choose the most appropriate group for your message and post it once there. We will delete all of your messages if you cross-post to multiple forums.

I have removed your other two identical posts.

Is it just me or does cross-posting imediately cause me to take the post less-seriously. It comes across as a drive-by posting rather than the subtle "I'm a member of this community but never posted before" aspect you would get if you targetted properly with a single post.

Yes. I delete any cross-posts I see, and they're almost always done by people who've never posted before and never post again.

Drive-by posting seems fine to me if posted in the right forum (e.g. looking for crew), but not when posted to five or six, only one of which is relevant.

I agree, I appreciate postings in general and don't care if they have been here or not if there is good info, its good info. My problem is the shotgun effect of multiple postings which smells more like Spam* instead of useful info.
