"The Going Rate" has been published in the November issue of The Hollywood Reporter. It is a list of how much movies are selling for in various countries. It allows me to figure out how much a country will pay for every $1,000 a filmmaker spent on their movie.

After a few moments with a spreadsheet I determine a movie with a $1,000 budget would sell for $13.34 in Brazil and a movie with a $1 million budget would get $13,340.

I figure Kisses and Caroms ?url? http://www.kissesandcaroms.com?/url? is valued between $50,000 and $250,000. I take Brazil's $13.34 paid per thousand and multiply it by 50 and 250 to determine that our movie would get between $666.67 and $3,332.50 in Brazil. I then calculate this for each territory to come up with a list of what Kisses and Caroms is worth in each country.

Australia/New Zealand from $1,666.67 to $8,332.50
Brazil from $666.67 to $3,332.50
France from $2,333.33 to $11,667.50
Germany/Austria from $4,000.00 to $20,000.00
Greece from $333.33 to $1,667.50
Hong Kong from $333.33 to $1,667.50
Italy from $3,333.33 to $16,667.50
Japan from $2,666.67 to $13,332.50
Mexico from $1,666.67 to $8,332.50
Russia from $1,333.33 to $6,667.50
South Africa from $666.67 to $3,332.50
Spain from $2,666.67 to $13,332.50
United Kingdom from $2,666.67 to $13,332.50

So a $50k movie would sell for around $1,333.33 in Russia
A $250k movie would sell for around $6,667.50 in Russia

For other values take Russia's $1,333.33 and divide it by 50= $26.66 per thousand. If your movies budget is $125k you'd multiply $26.66 by 125=$3333.32.
