Greetings all!

So what is the proper DVD format for sending films to film festivals, on-line distributors, Web TV broadcasters, etc?

Would it be the DVD-Video or the MPEG file?

If it's one or the other, do most people have ways of encoding or transcoding the DVD?

Does it depend on whether the film is to be shown on a film projector to a live audience or broadcast (streamed) over the net?

Does it matter? ???

Constructive advice would be much appreciated! ?:D?

Yes it does matter. And each festival, on-line distributor and Web TV broadcaster will have their own rules. And those rules may (or may not) be different.

Check the printed rules for the format they want. If you can't find the submission guidelines then call and ask.

Yup, I guess that's fine from all the format
As long the festival could see clearly on your film
