I can't pull up the image you linked to but I cannot imagine that each poster uses the same font type.

No, not every poster does this. But most of them do.

Google "War of the Worlds" and look at a poster of it. Look at the bottomof it. You'll see the text I'm talking about.

You can actually search for any movie. Most likely you will see this kind of text.
