I have many short scripts, mostly comedies, based on my published short stories. I would estimate the film length to be between 10 and 20 minutes for each, some 10 minutes, some 15 minutes, etc. Is there a market for films of this length and how does one go about marketing them. I am talking 3D animation only. Before I begin the massive work I always ask what will I do with the finished project. I know there are contests but one could go broke paying all the entry fees.

Also I have several full-length scripts and one comedy in particular that would love to produce but the work is enormous and would take a year if not two. Again how and where do I begin and hopefully where and how can I convince others to invest and help produce this. I have been contemplating this for a long time and just wondered if anyone has had similar challenges and experiences and where can I go to find these answers?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My suggestion would be to link up with someone to film the screenplays and put them on youtube or some other similar site. If you can generate hits you will generate interest from people with money.

Just make sure to create an actual website or other contact info you can plug on the end of your little films so that it they get seperated from YouTube (or some other similar site) they still work for you.
