as reading an article where i came to know that normally distributors take 35 % of the profit earned of the movies after taking out the expenses.well i want to know that is, at this stage launching a distribution company in uk , us or any other develoved country ? developed in terms of film industry?will be a good option or the filed of ditribution is filled and no space for new people to come in the market and settle down????????the competetion is highly tough or normal????????
i want to know the overall situation of launching a new distribution company.what will be the probability of its success of failure? because one major reason is that there are already many distribution companies so what are the chances???or the distribution co acts like ad agency the more creative you are...the more clients you will have......
is it the case in distribution companies too??????????

get some money, find a filmmaker you like, fund their movies, distribute them, sell lots of dvds, earn the money back and repeat. That's really all there is to it.
How well you succeed depends on whether you can be bothered to do the work required. if you are, great, if not, might i suggest accounting or a professon where it's easy to lay about and get paid.
The film industry demands the very most out of anyone, give anything less than your whole self and you risk adding to the degredation of the industry. hard work pays off in any profession.
