Probably a "newbie" question to ask but I don't really care. I've seen the word podcast before and I was wondering what exactly are they?

A podcast (in this case its going to be a video podcast) is kind of like a radio show. Except its throught the internet via a RSS feed. and you can subscribe to the feed through iTunes or another podcatcher and when a new episode comes out it will automatically download it for you. Then you can listen (or watch) to the episode whenever you want. You can also transfer the episode to your iPod so you can take it with you on the road if you are going to travel.

Need a Director?

Podcasting is something that ourselves at TMO films are thinking of doing for our productions. It's still early days but when we launch our first short film it will be PodCastable if that's the word.

I certainly don't believe PodFilms would be a waste of time if you're going to give people the chance to download for free in the early stages.

I really do think that Podcasting could be a good thing and at the start yes we would have them downloaded for free. I also think in the future they will be free downloads but we will have previews and ads to help support this endevor

Even though i dont have an Ipod I still download podcast and watch them. so if you get it set up with some film I would watch it.
