Hi,
I hope it's the right place to post something like this, if not please tell me.
I just came across the website ?url?www.onethousandvideos.com?/url?
I posted the video "somewhere in china" in the upper left corner.
I'd appreciate your feedback!
It's a (commercial) website to upload short films and they charge for it (starting from 1$ right now), but since I find it hard to get attention to my videos on Youtube I thought I give it a try and hope the page becomes famous 🙂
cu,
Alex
You found the right place.
My question is how are people going to find you there? I agree that it's hard to get attention on YouTube but will hundreds of thousands of people check out that site every day?
The center blocks cost $33,333! Then next tier is $11,111. I read the FAQ - he says, "this website can only become famous when people start to get crazy about this" but doesn't mention how he will drive people to the site. Who can afford $33,000? No maker of short films, that's for sure. So it will have to be some big advertiser. Why would I want to "get crazy" about clicking on a commercial for Pepsi or the trailer for a new Paramount movie?
I hope it works out for you Alex!

ci, I think the center block was $3,333...wasn't it? Still too much money.
balflex, I clicked on your video and there was simply a 36 second clip. That cost you a buck?
I'm bumping this as I hope you get some answers to your question...I'm interested as well.
When I run my curser over the center blocks it says, Category A - $33,333. Category D is $3,333.
I, too, wish balflex had returned. I'd be interested to know if he's getting more attention there than he did on YouTube.. I see that in 2 weeks not even one other video has been posted. I wonder how many people a day visit that site.

Ahhh. sorry...those damned boxes played tricks on my eyeballs. That in itself could be a problem with that site. ??)?It's a bit much. Still, am interested to see if it ever gets off the ground.
I haven't seen that site. That is an interesting idea.
