I'm working on my first movie currently. It's going to be a very entry level movie, no-budget, guerilla filmmaking, getting actors willing to work for food, that sort of deal. I'm new to the filmmaking industry, and I watched the Dov Simens DVD film school, but that was produced a couple years ago so I'm wondering how things have changed in the time in between. Dov mentions uploading your film and "micro-charging" for it, claiming there is a market for this, but I have yet to find that market, though it sounds cool if it is realistic.
But beyond that, are there sites that sell no budget no name digital films? Distribution companies? Film festivals? What would you say is my best bet?
Also, is there any kind of limiting factor to how many distribution directions I can take a movie. For example, if I sell it online, would I still be able to submit it to film festivals?
I'm a total newb to movie making, admittedly. ?:I?
