I'm an intern working at a new start up company in Brooklyn and they've put me in charge of finding actors for some test footage for a short film they plan on going into production with next month. This wouldn't be an actual casting call, they just want me to find a middle aged man and elderly woman to act in front of the camera so they can see how it looks. I've just been posting to websites and making it very clear that is for test footage and not an actual casting call. However, I was just checking in to see if anyone more experienced with this might know of some easier ways to go about this? Will casting companies help provide production companies with people for test shoots? Or something like that, I think there must be some way because test shoots go on all the time...Please let me know! Thanks so much!!
