I am casting for a short film and will hopefully begin shooting around the 17th february. It will probably take a week, maybe a bit less and will take place in St helens, Merseyside. There are a few parts to fill but they are only minor characters.
Firstly an old man, who appears to be a crazy tramp but is in fact quite wise.
Secondly someone to play a careers officer, I'm thinking along the lines of Kes but a little bit snobbier.
The main part has been filled, which is a young man around the age of 20 who has no directioin in his life and after working in dead end jobs decides to break out of his working class roots to follow his dream of becoming an artist. However if anyone is interested let me know incase this guy falls through or your better.
Its a student production, so i cant pay you i'm afraid but you will get copies of the film on dvd, i'll feed you and pay travel costs if your not to far away. If it turns out as planned i will also enter it into some festivals.
