Working in and around Chapman College in Orange County California initially (later locations will probably be in San Diego). I have most of the crew for this but could always use an extra set of willing hands.
I've put an ad in Backstage West for the cast (its online now but won't appear in print until the next edition or so) but I thought I'd list it here as well.
Basically it's a zombie comedy called Monday of the Dead. A shock jock takes calls during the zombie uprising. I'll need most positions including as many zombies as I can feed. Unpaid, no nudity, will pay credit and give a sample as well as some mileage.

I'm a new film maker from Upland, Ca. looking to meet others like me. I'm also trying to get my own shorts off the ground. (pre-production stuff ) with the problem being, I can't find ****nig actors to play this shit and hopefully for FREE! Let me know how your zombie film went. I'm over halfway filming. If you want to get actors pay $50 and put an add in Backstage West or one of the other weekly magazines actors poor over looking for work. I was flooded with headshots of people willing to work for free. Nearly all that made the auditions were impressive actors as well. Maybe not names, not yet, but they knew their craft and that $50 pumped my picture up into the major leagues as far as look and acting is concerned. Things also go a lot quicker if your actors are professional.
As far as helping as crew, I may be shooting a day in Northridge. If the location works out I'll let you know. I can always use extra help, especially as my DP is unlikely to make it that far north, that late in the shoot.
