i have never used free actors before.
i am planning to make a war film and want to use free actors because

1) budget reasons
2)i am not looking for really good actors (i would be nice but not a neccessity), i am looking for passionate actors who are willing to learn.

for this war film i am planning to shoot for 5 days, and 1 day before hand with an ex-army soldier to train the actors to move and act like soldiers, the day will be spent with 2 ex-army soldiers, the 8 'good guys' will be split up from the 8 'bad guys' and they will carry out an FTX (field training exersise) where they will manuver against each other with the guidance of the 2 ex army ppl.

i just want to get some opinions on:

1) how many people do you recon will aplly for this (travel expense paid only). does it sound like enough of an opertunity for an actor starting out his career

2)because they will be working for free, i imagine they will have other jobs, how hard is it going to be to organise the time slots so as to get 16 actors together at 1 time

You should be able to find free actors easily. Actually, I wouldn't call them actors as they are simply background and would be more than happy to be in any movies and to be able to put something in there resume. lol

Hi

I'm a young actor, aged 17. Looking for additional experience to build my CV up as much as possible. I'm not looking for extra roles or one/two liners, I would like Supporting/ Lead roles upon auditon of course.

My playing age ranges from 15-18 possibly to 21.

Brown Hair, Blue Eyes, slim but toned.
