We are looking for actors and actresses (English or American speaking).
Living in italy. Better in North Italy.
Age: 25 -38 years old.

Tecnica: Digital Movie.
Manifesto: Dogma.
Location: Basic and simple interior locations.
Style: A lot of close-ups.
Aesthetic: "Television Aesthetic".

Synopsis:

A lonely, single woman, Claire, living in a timeless city, maybe in the nearest future, has a visual disease. She can't sees any close-ups! If she sees any close-ups, at cinema or television, she has immediately a panic attack. She feels unreal. Out of control.
A disease which had no reasonable biological explanation.
She usually wears some glasses...
She needs a "Visual therapy".
...
One day she discovers that if she sees a close-up in a little camera's screen she doesn't feel any panic attack. Only if she has the control of the camera, only if she moves the camera, only if she decides the angle.

The Disease of Images:
This project is a reflection about the "Close-ups" and the world of images we are in.
From the Michelangelo Antonioni's Work, Wim Wenders' work.
Images are all over in our lives, we breath them, we eat them, we need them, we love them, but they can also make us ill and unconfortable with ourselves...We need to take a closer look of them daily, through an actor's eye. Can we ever learn to escape a single dimension visual world?
We dont have a cure for the "disease" of the images!
Are we just eternal spectator?
