In 2003, the Art Directors Club awarded the academy the title of Germany’s most creative university. In 2006, issue 22 of FOCUS, the Film Academy was ranked as the best film school in Germany. The animation institute at the Film Academy was listed as 2nd in the 3D World ranking in 2007, a global "Ivy League" table of the world's top animation schools.

Best German film school so far. Has been nominated for a lot of student oscars and even for an academy award in best animated short (Rocks). You are shooting films all the time,nearly 300 a year. The only german film school where you can specialize as a director in commercials, tv series, fiction, documentary, animation, image films, etc.
